Feeling embarrassed when the Car Talk puzzler is just an exercise in algebra, but that it’ll be challenging for some who can still fix a car better than me.

Frequent “Wait Wait…” panelists Mo Rocca and Paula Poundstone. I’m pretty sure most of WWDTM’s demographic doesn’t even understand Mo’s snide indie slacker style, they just laugh at his Eeyore face and voice. Paula Poundstone reminds me too much of Greta Van Sustren to be enjoyable.

Can’t see the value of having Carl Kassell’s voice on my answering machine, even if it were back in the golden age of answering machines. Get with the times; how about Carl Kassell sexting the winner?

Problem #7

During a call-in segment, a listener is trying to tie a personal problem to the broader social problem discussed in a long-winded crazy rant. Perfect example: Planet Money did a story about patent wars in the IT industry and some caller brings up his uncle who allegedly had an idea stolen and patented.

Getting irritated when a TAL story is taking too long to set up. Get to the action…the quaint, quirky, nuanced slice-of-Americana action!

Feeling uncomfortable and a little scared when Terry Gross’s interview with her guest turns hostile and you debate turning the station to some easy listening until the anger dies down.

Looking forward to an interesting-sounding segment but knowing you’ll forget to tune in when it’s on or downloading the podcast for that matter.
